In the last weeks of 2021, I finally found ClickUp, the most suitable project management app for my work. I know I’m going to need this app most in 2022. I’ve been trying to work with it, and so far, I like it.

It’s that time of year again for a year-end review. Keeping my words from the year-end review of 2018, I focused more on transcription in 2019.

Transcribing is fun. I loved every minute of it. Sometimes I indeed get crappy audio recordings, but it’s a part of the job that I have to tackle. It’s September now, so it’s been a year since I decided to become a full-time freelancer. All of that nearly came to a halt when I started suffering from muscle spasms and numbing pains on my wrists. There was a non-stop avalanche of transcription work from Spring 2019 to Fall 2019.

Five months ago, I dipped my toes into the strange world of online freelancing. It was scary, yes, but I think I’m beginning to find the niche and interest that I can focus on. I’m incredibly blessed that I got along with Upwork and its system these past five months. Reading what other people went through in some groups and forums, I’m thankful I didn’t have to go through all of those.
